MEET THE PLAYERS |
The mandala has its roots in various spiritual traditions. It is a tool for spiritual guidance, an aid to meditation, and for establishing a sacred space.
In Mandala, the game our players reflect that same sense of spirituality. There are five players in the game, with each being associated with one of the Classical elements of matter. These elements, first codified in the 6th century BC by the Persian philosopher Zarathrusta – the founder of Zoroastrianism – were long believed to be the essential building blocks of all things in nature.
In Mandala, we bring those same fundamental elements to life in the 21st century, right on your smartphone or tablet screen.
Let’s take a look at our players…
She is the Green player, and has the qualities of practicality, forbearance, and motherhood. The name Pachamama means “Earth Mother” in the Aymaran and Quechuan languages of the Andean region of South America.
To this day, Peruvians honour Pachamama and perform rituals in her name to ensure a bountiful harvest.
He is the Red player, and has the qualities of energy, assertiveness, and passion. Amarkeeri is a Hindu name meaning “eternal flame.”
In Hindu tradition, Fire is the province of the deity Agni, who takes the form of fire, lightning, and the sun.

It was created later “to foster and keep… all things that are.”
